Summary

This study looks at whether adding a therapy dog to a group behavioral program helps children with autism spectrum disorder manage their emotions better. The program, called Regulating Together, teaches emotion regulation skills. 240 children will be randomly assigned to the standard program or one with a therapy dog. Researchers will track changes in emotional reactivity and engagement.
