First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests a new vaccine called Candi5V in women who get frequent yeast infections (at least 3 per year). The goal is to see if the vaccine is safe and helps the body build immunity against the fungus that causes these infections. About 251 women will receive either the vaccine or a placebo, and researchers will monitor side effects and immune responses over several months.
