Experimental Drug-Radiation combo targets Hard-to-Treat metastatic cancers
NCT ID NCT05566574
Summary
This study is testing whether a new oral drug called RP-3500 is safe and effective when given alongside targeted radiation therapy to people with advanced, spreading cancer that has a specific genetic change (ATM mutation). The goal is to better control the growth of tumors that have spread to other parts of the body, using this combination approach. Researchers will first find the safest dose of the drug and then see how well it works to keep the treated tumors from growing for at least six months.
