First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This pilot study compares blood biomarkers between regular cannabis users and non-users to find a reliable way to estimate when someone last inhaled cannabis. Current THC blood tests are not good at measuring driving impairment. The study involves 120 participants and aims to improve road safety by providing more objective markers for cannabis use.
