Summary

This study tested a drug called canakinumab in 14 Japanese adults with Adult-Onset Still's Disease, a rare inflammatory condition causing fever, joint pain, and rash. Participants received injections every 4 weeks for at least 48 weeks. The goal was to see if the drug could reduce disease activity and help patients lower their use of steroids. Results supported the drug's approval in Japan for this condition.
