Summary
This study looked at whether canagliflozin, a diabetes medicine, can reduce scarring in the heart muscle of people with type 2 diabetes who are at high risk for heart problems. 45 adults took the drug, and researchers used heart scans to measure changes in fibrosis. The goal was to understand how this drug might protect the heart.
