CT scans may predict best treatment for liver cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07449065
First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at 324 liver cancer patients to see if CT scans could predict who would benefit from a combination of two treatments: a procedure that blocks the tumor's blood supply (TACE) and a targeted drug (TKI). The goal was to find out if certain scan features could help doctors choose the best treatment for each patient. The study did not test a new treatment but aimed to improve how we use existing ones.
