New drug duo targets rare pregnancy-related cancer in high-risk patients

NCT ID NCT05139095

First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining two drugs, camrelizumab and apatinib, with chemotherapy can help women with a rare pregnancy-related cancer called gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN). It includes two groups: those with very high-risk disease who haven't had treatment, and those whose cancer has come back or not responded to prior chemo. The goal is to see if the combination can shrink or eliminate tumors, with treatment continuing as long as it works and side effects are manageable.
