This study tested whether an 18-month program combining physical, mental, and social activities could improve quality of life, thinking skills, mood, and daily function in older adults. 187 people aged 60 and older (or 55+ with a health condition) from nursing homes and the community took part. Participants were randomly assigned to the program or usual care, and their progress was measured using standard tests for memory, balance, mood, and independence.
