NCT ID NCT06847087

First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at 86 patients who had a bone fracture and were seeing a rheumatologist for the first time in at least 5 years. The goal was to see if the calcium supplements they were prescribed matched what they actually get from food. The researchers found that many patients were either getting too much or too little calcium, suggesting that doctors should check diet before prescribing supplements.
