Heart surgery bleeding linked to calcium levels?
NCT ID NCT07634042
First seen Jun 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026
Summary
This study looks back at records of 4300 adults who had open-heart surgery to see if calcium levels in the blood are related to how much they bleed. Researchers will calculate average calcium levels during and after surgery and compare them to a standard bleeding scale. The goal is to find out if low calcium might increase bleeding risk.
