Summary
This study tested a new investigational medicine called CagriSema, which combines two drugs (cagrilintide and semaglutide), to see how it affects insulin sensitivity and pancreatic function in adults with type 2 diabetes. 158 participants received either CagriSema, one of the individual drugs, or a placebo, all alongside their usual metformin. The goal was to measure how well the body uses insulin, which could lead to better blood sugar management.
