Summary
This completed Phase 1 trial tested CagriSema, a new combination of two medicines (cagrilintide and semaglutide), in 158 adults with type 2 diabetes. Participants received either CagriSema, one of the individual drugs, or a placebo, alongside their usual metformin. The study measured how well the body responds to insulin, aiming to see if CagriSema improves insulin sensitivity and pancreatic function.
