What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
CagriSema (cagrilintide and semaglutide)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a new treatment option to help children and teens with type 2 diabetes better control their blood sugar and weight.
What could go wrong
This is a Phase 3 trial, but it's small (80 participants) and results may not apply to all children. Side effects from the drugs are possible, and the placebo-controlled phase means some kids won't get the active treatment initially.
Conditions
The condition(s) this trial relates to.
