First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding pirfenidone to the immunotherapy drug atezolizumab can help shrink tumors and overcome treatment resistance in people with stage 4 or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer. About 25 adults who have already had at least one prior treatment will receive the combination. The main goal is to check safety and side effects, while also measuring tumor response and survival.
