Summary
This study tested a program called CAFÉ, where financial navigators helped cancer patients with money concerns after diagnosis. The goal was to reduce financial hardship and improve quality of life. 371 patients from two Kaiser Permanente regions took part. The program provided personalized support and resources to address issues like paying bills or choosing between treatment options based on cost.
