New hope for tough colorectal cancers: Dual-Target drug trial launches
NCT ID NCT05426005
First seen May 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 20, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This trial tests a new drug called Cadonilimab in 28 people with advanced colorectal cancer that has a specific genetic feature (MSI-H or dMMR) and has stopped responding to standard immunotherapy. The drug targets two immune checkpoints (PD-1 and CTLA-4) at once, aiming to shrink tumors or slow their growth. Researchers will measure how many patients are alive without their cancer getting worse after 12 months.
