First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study aimed to better understand the underlying causes of eczema (atopic dermatitis) by collecting data, blood, and skin samples from participants. It also compared two types of light therapy—broadband and narrowband UVB—to see which works better for moderate-to-severe eczema. The study enrolled 69 adults across three Canadian centers but was terminated early.
