New hope for liver cancer: drug targets tumors after immunotherapy fails

Summary
This study tests the drug cabozantinib in 60 adults with advanced liver cancer that got worse after initial immunotherapy. The goal is to see if cabozantinib can stop or slow tumor growth for at least 6 months. Researchers will also look for blood or tissue markers that predict who benefits and why some cancers resist treatment.
