Can skipping pills save money without hurting treatment?

NCT ID NCT07077161

First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether taking cabozantinib less often (skipping doses) works just as well as lowering the dose for people with advanced kidney cancer. About 34 adults who are already on a stable dose will try both methods for 4 weeks each. Researchers will check drug levels in the blood, side effects, and quality of life to see if skipping doses can save money while keeping the treatment effective.
