Summary
This study tested whether a single dose of cabergoline can prevent breast pain, engorgement, and milk leakage in people who had an abortion or pregnancy loss between 16 and 20 weeks of pregnancy. 69 participants were randomly assigned to receive cabergoline or a placebo. The goal was to see if the drug could reduce physical and emotional distress caused by breast symptoms after early second-trimester loss.
