The search for the perfect C-Section stitch

NCT ID NCT06119113

Summary

This study aimed to find the best type of stitch for closing the skin after a C-section. Researchers compared three common suture materials in 300 women to see which one led to fewer wound infections and better-looking scars. They tracked participants for up to four months after surgery to measure infection rates and scar appearance.
