Scientists test how burns slow Body's cooling system

NCT ID NCT07050264

Summary

This study aims to understand how simulated burn injuries affect the body's ability to cool down after exercise in hot conditions. Researchers will compare how quickly body temperature and heart rate return to normal in the same healthy volunteers with and without a simulated burn patch. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help improve recovery guidelines for real burn survivors.
