New study tests best way to start addiction medicine for fentanyl users

Summary
This study aims to find the best way to start buprenorphine treatment for adults with opioid addiction who use fentanyl. Researchers will compare two different starting methods to see which one helps people stay in treatment longer and feel better during the first week. Fifty participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods and followed for 90 days to track their progress.
