Summary
This study tests whether giving a short-term buprenorphine treatment (called a bridge) to people on probation or parole with opioid use disorder helps them start and stay in community-based treatment. About 320 adults in Baltimore will either receive the bridge treatment or a referral to usual care. The goal is to reduce illicit opioid use and improve health.
