New bundled therapy for bladder pain shows promise in small trial

NCT ID NCT05658874

First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a combination of treatments—physical therapy, behavioral health support, and medical procedures—works better than standard care for women with chronic bladder pain. Twenty-six women took part. The main goal was to see if their pain and urinary symptoms improved after 12 weeks using a standard pain scale. The study was stopped early, so results are limited.
