First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study planned to compare a buffered 2% hypertonic saline solution with standard fluids given during spine surgery in children and teens aged 10 and older. The goal was to see how each fluid affects blood chemistry and how much fluid is needed. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
