Virtual playmates may boost recovery in young cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT07522905

First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a 12-week virtual buddy-movement therapy can help children aged 5 to 12 who have finished treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The therapy pairs each child with a healthy friend for online movement sessions. Researchers will measure changes in motor skills, quality of life, and body measurements. The goal is to see if this approach can improve physical and social development after cancer treatment.
