Bubble sounds may reveal lung pressure in preemies
NCT ID NCT07060833
First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at 30 premature babies on bubble CPAP, a breathing machine that uses bubbles to deliver air. Researchers want to see if the sound of the bubbles can tell doctors how much pressure is reaching the baby's lungs. The goal is to find a new, non-invasive way to monitor breathing support in the NICU.
