Scientists search for early clues to devastating lung disease
NCT ID NCT04604522
Summary
This study aims to learn more about specific cells in the airways of people who develop a serious lung condition called bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome after a lung or stem cell transplant. Researchers will collect cell samples from 15 patients during their standard medical care to see if these cells can help detect the condition earlier in the future. The study does not test a treatment; it is focused on gathering information to improve future diagnosis.
