Summary
This study looked at whether taking broccoli powder for two weeks could help healthy young men recover from a tough cycling workout. Seventeen men took either broccoli powder or a placebo (spinach powder) and then did a maximal cycling test. Researchers measured markers of oxidative stress, blood lactate, and muscle power to see if the broccoli powder made a difference.
