One-Session therapy trial aims to ease unexplained memory woes
NCT ID NCT07379723
Summary
This study is testing whether a single therapy session is a practical and helpful way to manage Functional Cognitive Disorder (FCD), where people have memory or thinking problems not caused by a known brain disease. The researchers want to see if this brief intervention is easy for participants to use and if it can help reduce symptoms, improve daily function, and boost quality of life. Participants will complete questionnaires, attend one clinic session to learn a mental focus technique, and have two follow-up phone calls.
