Can simple home exercises help kids breathe easier with asthma?
NCT ID NCT07169071
Summary
This study tested whether adding special breathing exercises to standard physical therapy helps children with asthma. Thirty children aged 8-18 were randomly assigned to do either standard therapy or standard therapy plus breathing muscle training at home for 8 weeks. Researchers measured if the extra training improved lung function, breathing strength, asthma control, and walking ability.
