New 'Window into your Body' therapy aims to ease long COVID suffering

NCT ID NCT06503913

Summary

This study is testing a new therapy called Cognitive Muscular Therapy (CMT) to help people with Long COVID who struggle with breathlessness. The therapy combines psychological support with physiotherapy and uses a special system to show patients how their breathing muscles are working in real-time. Researchers are testing it on 20 people to see if it can improve breathing, reduce dizziness and fatigue, and help with daily activities.
