Can four simple breaths ease surgery pain and improve sleep?

NCT ID NCT07457086

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific breathing method, called the 4-7-8 technique, can help patients feel better after a common bladder surgery. Researchers will teach the technique to half of the 68 participants before and after their procedure, while the other half receives standard care. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free practice can lead to less pain, better sleep, and a smoother recovery in the first 24 hours after surgery.
