First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests two types of breathing support for 70 adults with Guillain-Barré syndrome who have serious breathing trouble. One method uses a high-flow nasal cannula, and the other uses a mask that helps with both inhaling and exhaling. The goal is to see which approach helps more patients avoid needing a breathing tube within 30 days.
