Can a simple breathing combo boost COPD relief?

NCT ID NCT07531771

First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding alternate nostril breathing to pursed lip breathing helps people with mild COPD breathe better and feel better. About 40 adults aged 40-65 with Grade I COPD will be split into two groups: one does pursed lip breathing alone, the other does both techniques. Researchers will measure lung function and quality of life to see if the combination offers extra benefits.
