Simple breathing techniques show promise for asthma relief

NCT ID NCT07477080

Summary

This study tested whether two different breathing exercises could help improve lung function in adults with asthma. Sixty Egyptian adults with mild to moderate asthma practiced either diaphragmatic breathing or pursed-lip breathing exercises for eight weeks. Researchers measured changes in breathing capacity and chest expansion to see which technique worked better.
