Can better breathing make cancer radiation easier?

NCT ID NCT06747533

Summary

This study is testing whether coaching patients in diaphragmatic breathing helps them take more consistent, deeper breaths during radiation treatment for breast cancer. Researchers want to see if this special breathing technique makes the treatment more reproducible and reduces patient anxiety. The study involves 40 adults with left-sided breast cancer or cancer requiring lymph node treatment.
