NCT ID NCT06838871

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tested whether combining special breathing exercises (inspiratory muscle training) with a core-strengthening maneuver (abdominal drawing-in) helps people recovering from a stroke improve their balance, walking, and breathing. Twenty subacute stroke patients (1-6 months after stroke) participated. The goal was to see if this combined approach works better than standard rehab alone.
