Summary
This study tested a new, noninvasive breath test to see if it can identify pregnant women at risk for gestational diabetes. Twenty pregnant women took a special sugar drink, and their breath was analyzed instead of drawing blood. The goal was to see if the breath test works as well as standard blood tests for early detection.
