Summary
This large UK trial is testing whether inviting women for breast cancer screening at younger (47-49) and older (71-79) ages saves lives. About 4 million women across England are participating, with half being invited for the extra screening appointments. The study will use national health records to compare breast cancer death rates between the two groups over time.
