New 3D-Printed molds could make breast reconstruction safer and more precise

Summary
This study tests custom-designed 3D-printed molds to help surgeons shape breast tissue during reconstruction after mastectomy. The goal is to make the surgery more efficient and improve the final breast shape. About 160 adults having certain types of breast reconstruction will take part. Researchers will track safety and any side effects.
