New study checks how constipation drug passes into breast milk

Summary

This study looks at how much of the constipation drug prucalopride gets into breast milk. Twelve breastfeeding women with chronic constipation will provide milk samples over 24 hours. Researchers will also check the growth and development of their babies and ask about any side effects. The goal is to understand infant exposure and safety.
