First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study is testing a new way to use Doppler ultrasound to help doctors tell the difference between harmless (benign) and cancerous (malignant) breast lumps. Researchers will measure blood flow in the lump and compare it to healthy breast tissue. The goal is to see if this method can improve diagnosis without needing a biopsy. About 90 women with solid breast lumps will take part.
