New drug combo shows promise in shrinking breast tumors before surgery

Summary

This study tests a new drug called QL1706 (a mix of two immune-boosting medicines) combined with standard chemotherapy given before surgery for people with a common type of breast cancer (HR-positive, HER2-negative). The goal is to see if this combination can eliminate all cancer cells in the breast tissue at the time of surgery. About 55 adults with early-stage, non-metastatic breast cancer will take part. The study is currently recruiting.
