First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a protein called SGLT2 is linked to heart damage caused by a common type of breast cancer chemotherapy. Researchers will measure SGLT2 levels in blood and cells from 50 women with localized breast cancer before and after treatment. The goal is to find better ways to identify who is at risk for heart problems, so doctors can prevent them in the future.
