First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at people who have used nasal decongestant sprays for a long time, which can cause a cycle of rebound congestion. The goal was to help them stop using the spray through a structured program that included a nasal steroid spray and motivational interviews. 72 participants took part, and the study measured how many could quit for at least a week and stay off it for six months.
