New study aims to close the technology gap for kids with diabetes

Summary
This study helps 50 children (ages 6 to 17) with type 1 diabetes who have high blood sugar levels and come from low-income families. Participants will receive advanced insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors with help from an insurance navigator. The goal is to see if using these devices improves their time-in-range blood sugar levels over 3 to 6 months.
