First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study uses brain scans to see how the brainstem and other brain areas respond to mild electrical pulses on the face and arm in 40 healthy volunteers. The goal is to better understand the brain circuits involved in facial pain and touch, which could help future research on migraine disorders. Participants must be healthy, suitable for MRI, and free of headache or psychological conditions.
